The Krylon Triple Thick Crystal Clear Glaze works like a charm as a top coat. I used it to seal a Xbox 360 controller that I painted with Krylon Fusion, so far it looks brilliant. The finish it provides can change a plain-looking surface into a shiny, glass-like surface.
The first short coming is that the glaze will run and drip if not applied to an object that can lay flat, mostly because the spray is water based. The second short coming is the lengthy dry time, which is 24 hours. Well, it will dry in 4 hours, but to avoid leaving fingerprints, it is advised on the can to not touch it for 24 hours (It's not really a shortcoming, but more of an inconvenience).
Overall, it's a nice product, looks amazing, and is very good value for the price (I paid 3 dollars for a 12 ounce can at WalMart).
